National Sales Director

J.T. joined Advice Company in 2006 in the Sales and Service department and was promoted to National Sales Director in 2009. Prior to joining Advice Company J.T. spent over 10 years in Sales and Business Development roles for a number of Internet and high-technology companies.

J.T. started his Internet career with Idealab where he managed the Business Development efforts on a team responsible for launching and growing 12 companies over 5 years - one of which he helped take public and several others which went on to be acquired. He moved on to a direct sales role with NetSuite, the world’s #1 web-based software business suite, where he quickly became the #2 Sales Rep out of a team of over 60 Reps, in only 10 months, shortly before NetSuite went public.

Along the way, J.T. also got his "foot in the door" with several Hollywood production companies and wrote over a dozen episodes of a highly-popular animated series which still airs on Nickelodeon today.

J.T. studied Chemical Engineering, Business and Film at the University of Massachusetts, before transferring to the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he ultimately earned his BA.

J.T. is a big believer that businesses are best built on “win-win” relationships and has a knack for matching law firms with highly productive marketing solutions based on their specific needs. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, an amateur beer brewer, and a high-tech gadget "connoisseur" J.T. currently resides in Marin County with his wife and young son and will proudly share family pictures with anybody who asks.
